What is Coaching?
Coaching is a process to support clients in going further, by partnering with the client to support their own thought process and learning, by thinking beyond current thinking, uncovering blocks and shifting perspective towards their optimum potential.
Coaching could be for you if you are feeling stuck, having difficulty moving forward, want to find more balance, want to develop or want to change or improve something and want to put in the work to see results.
The benefits of coaching can be developing self-awareness, addressing limiting beliefs, help focus, support reflection, embracing change, seeing things in a different way, see different options, being more self-reliant and help you move forward towards goals, dreams or vision.
For organisations or business this can benefit the company and support your employees in improving performance, gaining clarity, increasing resilience, achieving focus, cultivating innovation, creating plans and accountability, reaching goals and success.
Some key difference between coaching and training, therapy, mentoring & consulting:
Types of Coaching:

The process is intended to meet the individual needs in terms of development, performance and success, as well as the organisations’ (where applicable), with a combination of structured design and felexible elements.
The aim is to support good leaders in becoming better leaders. -
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion coaching is for everyone. It is aimed at different diversity aspects people are working through. That can vary from person to person, and it is a broad areas. Some examples of topics could be; working with unconscious or conscious biases, inclusive leadership (part of leadership), allyship, and much more. Two different yet often intertwined topics. Wellbeing is a huge part of coaching arguably all coaching has an element of it. Mental health contributes to many aspects of our life, including achieving what we want to or living how we want to. We all experience ups and downs in mental health at different times, coaching can help going from a state on languishing to flourishing. This is not a replacement for therapy or where mental illness is present.
Wellbeing can also contribute to building resilience, which is key when things get challenging, weather we planned them or not. There can be a link to transitions here or wanting to achieve something challenging. It can also be something to build when things are going well and finding what works well for you and building that self-awareness to move forward.
There are a lot of different approaching to both wellbeing and resilience and the coaching itself looks at what works for you as an individual and creating that approach. -
Transition coaching is aimed at where there is a change taking place within an organisation, for a person, or external change. Coaching supports navigating the change through the transition, towards transformation.
Some examples of change could be:
• M&A
• reorgs
• relocation
• cultural change
• start-up division or business
• change in role or promotion
• pandemic related changes
• becoming a parent
• change in career
